Privacy Policy

Overview
Ally Auditor ("we", "our", "the Plugin") is a Framer plugin that scans your canvas for accessibility issues. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with transparency.
What We Collect
The Plugin stores the following data locally in your browser:
- License key — used to validate your Pro subscription
- Instance ID — a randomly generated identifier for your browser session
- License status & validation timestamp — to avoid excessive server checks
What We Do NOT Collect
- Your name, email, or personal information
- Your Framer project content, designs, or assets
- Audit results or accessibility scores
- Usage analytics or telemetry data
- Your AI API keys (these are stored on your device only)
Server Communication
The Plugin communicates with our license validation server only for two purposes:
- License activation — when you enter a license key
- License validation — periodically (every 24 hours) to verify your subscription status
These requests are proxied through a Cloudflare Worker and forwarded to Creem.io for payment and license management.
AI Features
If you use the AI alt text generation feature, your images are sent directly from your browser to the AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) using your own API key. We do not proxy, store, or have access to these requests or your API key.
Third-Party Services
- Creem.io — payment processing and license management (Creem Privacy Policy)
- Cloudflare — hosting our license validation worker (Cloudflare Privacy Policy)
Data Storage
All plugin data (settings, API keys, audit results) is stored locally in your browser's localStorage or via Framer's plugin data API. We do not maintain any external database of user information.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
