Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using the Ally Auditor plugin ("the Plugin"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Plugin.

2. Service Description

Ally Auditor is a Framer plugin that scans canvas designs for WCAG accessibility issues and provides recommendations. The Plugin is offered in two tiers:

• Free — Core scanning features (image alt text, heading hierarchy, links, contrast), AI alt text generation (BYOK), and compliance scoring.
• Pro — All Free features plus batch highlight, issue navigation, heatmap summary, export reports, and audit history.

3. License Keys

Pro features require a valid license key obtained through our payment provider, Creem.io. License keys are personal and non-transferable. Each key may be activated on a limited number of devices.

4. Payments

Pro subscriptions are processed by Creem.io. By purchasing a Pro license, you agree to Creem.io's payment terms. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time.

5. AI Features

The AI alt text generation feature requires your own API key from OpenAI or Anthropic. You are responsible for any costs associated with using these third-party AI services. We do not store or have access to your API keys.

6. Disclaimer

Ally Auditor assists with identifying potential accessibility issues. It does not constitute a legal certification of WCAG compliance. You are responsible for ensuring your websites meet applicable accessibility standards. We recommend consulting with accessibility professionals for comprehensive audits.

7. Intellectual Property

The Plugin, including its code, design, and documentation, is the intellectual property of the Ally Auditor team. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the Plugin.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Plugin is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Plugin, including but not limited to: inaccurate scan results, missed accessibility issues, or AI-generated content.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Plugin after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
